Common questions

How does The Bend Challenge work?

It runs in rounds. During the qualifier you book a run, jump in the Toyota 86 on the Bend International layout and set your best lap. The fastest four go through to a livestream final.

What car and track is the competition on?

Everyone races the same car and setup, a Toyota 86 on the Bend International layout. Nothing is tuned, so the board is an honest read on who is quickest.

How much does it cost to take part?

You take part by booking a normal run, from $40 for 30 minutes. During a qualifier you can come back as many times as you like and only your best lap counts.

What is the prize?

The fastest four make a livestream final. Win that final and you drive a real Hyundai Excel race car at Mallala.

When is the next round?

Book a session to get lap-ready and keep an eye on this page. When the next qualifier opens, your best lap on the board is what counts.
